"Medusa" Lapel Chain
Developed by Master Goldsmith Paolo Penko and cast in Sterling Silver according to the traditional lost-wax method, the “Medusa” Lapel Chain was inspired by Benvenuto Cellini’s bronze Perseus with the Head of Medusa statue (1545-1554), and depicts the severed head of Medusa.
The “Medusa” Lapel Chain was designed as an elegant accessory to be worn on a blazer in lieu of a lapel pin. The chain is threaded through the lapel’s button hole and hangs into the breast pocket while the miniature Sterling Silver casting rests on the lapel.
