Paint your own fresco under the direction of Florentine artist and architect, Emanuele Capozza.
Emanuele Capozza, a native of Florence, possesses an innate talent for drawing and painting that seems to be a trait deeply ingrained in his family. His great-uncle owned a well known sculpting and painting bottega in Florence until the late 1920s, and while they unfortunately never had the chance to meet, it was his example that inspired Emanuele to pick up a paint brush and devote his life to painting.
With a deep passion for Italian art, Emanuele learned the ancient technique of fresco painting from several well-known masters and currently works on commission basis for his patrons located around the world.
It is this same passion - and his desire to spread it - that prompted Emanuele to offer hands-on lessons of the ancient Buon Fresco painting method.
During a 4-hour private lesson, guests are fully immersed in the millennia-old process of fresco painting.
Just like Michelangelo, DaVinci, Vasari, and other great artists of the past, they will work with traditional materials such as lime, plaster, pigments and water as Emanuele guides them through each step of preparing and painting a fresco of their own.
At the end of the class, you will take home a small fresco that you can be enjoyed for generations.
This is a unique, exclusive and fun experience for all ages and all artistic abilities.
